Accepted!! Inspection on Tuesday!

ummmm...I JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!! I did!! They accepted!!! I own the pretty pretty teal house with a big front porch and lead glass windows!!

I just got the call! What do I do!? Do I tell my friends? Do I start running numbers? I am all alone cuz BB is at work and I feel like I should DO something!

I'd say do the happy dance!! Congratulations...that is good news. I love how the sellers said final offer and you still countered and they accepted the counter offer. Too funny!!

Well, we countered $2500 lower than their FINAL OFFER...so I guess it wasn't too big a stretch for them.

Did you see interest rates today? If it were me, I'd lock in 4.5% (or whatever you can get in your situation). That's what I'd do!

Oh I'm so happy for you! And it is one of my favorite kinds of houses. Love the porch you showed the other day, too. The tan room next to the kitchen--is that the dining room? Does it have a plate ledge that runs all the way around the room? I see picture railing around the entry way and living room, don't I? And those windows! Ah, wonderful! There is so much character in a house like that. I'm glad someone in the 1960's-70s-80s-90s-2000s did not think it was outdated and change it up too much Is there a fireplace? It's a gem!

I wish you smooth sailing from on the financing.

Wow- Joan you know a lot!! Honestly, when we looked at the house the first time there was so much furniture crammed into it that I only noticed the ceiling, pocket doors and windows. I never even saw the picture railing on the walls. Or the fireplaces! But there are several fireplaces also. The second time we looked at the house we set off the security alarm and had to get out quickly! I barely saw the inside! I will have more and better info after the inspection on Tuesday.
